Lecture and Discussion with Prof. Dr. Thomas Bock (TU Munich) "Yao Yorozu no Robot"

Architect Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Bock received the Eugen and Ilse Seibold Prize 2017 by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation). He was honoured for his many years of successful and dedicated commitment to academic and cultural exchange between Germany, the EU and Japan.

His lecture will introduce the sociotechnically integrated use of new technologies in everyday life. Bock developed the term “robot-oriented design”, which refers to a complete technological and planning concept. He will talk about robotic industrialization, site robotics, automated sites and robotic ambience.

Dr.-Ing. Thomas Linner of TU Munich will give an extra talk about “Modular and Responsive Robotic Service Environments”.
