The symposium is supported by the German Embassy in Japan and was jointly developed with several prominent German DWIH supporters in Japan, such as the following: The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), the German Research Foundation (DFG), the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Japan (AHK Japan), the German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ), the Representative Office of the University of Heidelberg, the Leibniz Association (WGL), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Aerospace Centre Project Executing Organization (DLR), Max-Planck Foundation (MPG), Conference of University Rectors (HRK), the Alliance of Science Organizations in Germany (Leopoldina), federal state Representative Offices of Bavaria and the economic development agency of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW Japan K.K.).

The Embassy of France (co-organizer) and its well-known partners are also supporting the event such as follows: the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (Inria), the National Agency for Research (ANR) and the DATAIA Institute.

Likewise, leading Japanese institutions and experts involved in AI research and innovation will also be participating such as the following: Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED), Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST), Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

This is key to closely linking the discussion to their projects, and the exceptional talent assembled for the event is sure to attract an audience that can benefit from and initiate collaborative research and exchange between Japan, Germany and France.
